Hegwood Law Group Virtual Workshop Library

This Virtual Workshop Library serves as an online database of educational webinars and presentations given by Hegwood Law Group. You can visit the website by clicking the button below.

The main purpose of this Virtual Workshop Library is to provide value to the users through free recordings of Hegwood Law Group’s webinars. This helps to build authority and trust for the managing attorney, as these potential clients can hear for themselves that she has the experience and knowledge necessary to do quality work for them. It is also a convenient way to send webinar replays to those who registered for a webinar but were unable to attend live, allowing us to keep in contact with leads.

Along with editing each of the videos in this library, I also created the library itself. The website is hosted on Thinkific and each webinar recording is available as a “course.” Upon selecting a course to watch, the user is taken to a landing page with information about the course. When the user decides to view it, they are prompted to sign in so their account can track which courses they have viewed, their progress, and it can save their information. Hegwood Law Group can also use the provided information to follow up with the user for any legal assistance, using the topic of the webinar to tailor their messaging to meet the potential client’s legal needs. After viewing the virtual workshop, the user is shown a screen giving them the option to schedule a free consultation.

Thinkific is integrated with Keap, the firm’s CRM, allowing the user to automatically be created as a lead and tagged to indicate which workshop they watched. The integration with Keap allows portions of the follow-up campaign to be automated, requiring no work from the team to nurture and keep in touch with potential clients.

The Virtual Workshop Library has served as a great tool for Hegwood Law Group, especially during the pandemic when the firm had to transition from in-person seminars to virtual workshops. While the standard amongst other similar law firms is to upload webinar recordings to YouTube, Thinkific gives Hegwood Law Group the advantage of requiring viewers to sign up before viewing a recording, providing the opportunity to follow up with and nurture the viewer to give a higher chance of conversion.
